Learn More—BFH Detailing Service FAQs

  • 1. What services do you offer for protecting and improving my car’s finish?

We offer a full lineup of services that work together to keep your car looking its best, inside and out. That includes thorough interior and exterior detailing to clean everything up, paint correction to remove swirls and light defects, and ceramic coating to add long lasting gloss and protection. We also install window tint to cut heat and glare, clear PPF to guard against rock chips, and matte PPF if you want that stealthy satin look or need to protect a true matte finish. Whether you’re daily driving or babying a weekend ride, there’s a combo that fits how you use your vehicle.

  • 2. What’s the difference between detailing and paint correction?

Detailing focuses on cleaning, decontaminating, and refreshing your car inside and out, so it looks and feels much better than a basic wash. Paint correction goes a step further and actually levels out the clear coat to remove swirls, light scratches, and haze that make your paint look dull. You can think of detailing as getting everything clean and presentable, and paint correction as the process that brings back real depth, clarity, and shine. A lot of customers start with paint correction, then maintain that finish with regular detailing.

  • 3. How does ceramic coating help my car compared to regular wax or sealant?

Ceramic coating creates a durable, chemical resistant layer on top of your clear coat that lasts much longer than traditional waxes or sealants. It makes washing easier because dirt, water, and road film don’t stick as easily, and it gives the paint a deep, glossy look that doesn’t fade after a few weeks. You’ll still need to wash your car, but you’ll spend less time scrubbing and more time enjoying how good it looks. For many people, ceramic coating is the foundation of their long term protection plan, especially when it’s paired with paint correction first.

  • 4. When should I choose PPF or matte PPF instead of just ceramic coating?

PPF is the way to go when you’re worried about rock chips, pitting, and heavier abuse on the front end or other high impact areas. It’s a thicker, clear film that physically absorbs impacts that would normally chip your paint, and matte PPF does the same thing while giving you a satin finish or protecting an existing matte paint job. Ceramic coating is great for gloss, ease of cleaning, and everyday protection, but it doesn’t stop rock chips like film can. A lot of customers will run PPF on the front end or full car, then add ceramic coating on top for even easier maintenance.

  • 5. What does window tint add to all of this, and can I mix these services?

Window tint ties everything together by making the car more comfortable and easier on your eyes while you drive. It helps cut glare, reduce interior heat, and block UV rays that can fade your interior and wear you out on longer drives. You can absolutely mix services, like pairing tint with a ceramic coated and PPF protected exterior, so your car feels better to drive and stays looking fresh longer. If you’re not sure where to start, we can talk through how you use your vehicle and suggest a plan that fits your goals and budget.
